BARNEGAT FIRST AID SQUAD
Neighbors Helping Neighbors Since 1944
Developed in 1944, Barnegat First Aid Squad or Squad, 11 is an EMS agency answering over 1,100 calls annually in the Barnegat and surrounding areas. We are comprised of over 50 highly trained and dedicated members who volunteer tens of thousands of hours to provide emergency care.

Barnegat First Aid provide EMS coverage primarily for the Township of Barnegat. We also regularly support our partners in our neighboring towns.
We also provide support services for township events like Pirate's Day and National Night Out, as well as other various events.
Barnegat First Aid Squad is committed to supporting Barnegat High School students and provides Stand-By Services for Football games as well as Junior Bengal Games.
Volunteering With Us
Barnegat First Aid Squad is comprised solely of volunteers. We currently boast over 50 dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to help those in need.
You can volunteer with us in either the capicity of an EMT or Driver/Extra. To volunteer with us, there is no experience needed. All that is needed is the desire and call to help others. We will take of the rest!

Your contributions allows us to stock and carry the most up to date equipment to continue serving the community.

Our services are 100% free of cost. As a volunteer agency, we do not charge for EMS services.
Your Impact
Through your contributions, in 2024, Barnegat First Aid Squad was able to purchase new Motorola Radios. These radios allow us to be on the newest digital frequencies for increased connectivity and allow us to operate on the same frequencies as the surronding areas. Prior to this purchase, Barnegat First Aid was one of only three agencies not on the new frequencies.
In addition, we were able to upgrade our Toughbooks allowing us to have better technology when responding to calls.
